How Do I Book an Appointment?

For your convenience, online bookings are available and this is preferred. You are also welcome to call the clinic on 8221 6800. Please note that Reception is not staffed full time, however you are able to leave a message and your call will returned as soon as possible.

New patients, please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to complete a “New Patient Form” prior to appointment.

 

Car Parking

Free onsite car parking is available for Physiotherapy patients at the rear of 245 Currie St. Our car park entrance is located off Queens Court which is accessible via Kings Court from Currie Street.

Access to Clinic

You can enter Tweak Physio from either the front of the building or use the rear entrance from the carpark. Follow the signs and walk down the corridor to the far right for the waiting room.

 

No. If you are a private patient a referral is not required.

Do I Need a Referral?

 

Private Health Insurance Rebates are available within our clinic via Hicaps. Please bring your Private Health Insurance card and it can be swiped on the spot to claim your rebate instantly.

Please bring any relevant imaging results and wear loose clothing as to allow access to the area being treated.

What Do I Bring/Wear?

 

If your doctor has given you an CDM/EPC form please make sure this is made known when booking your initial appointment. You will be required to pay the full fee upfront and as long as you bring your CDM/EPC form (and any additional referral/management plan etc), Medicare card and an EFTPOS card with a savings account, the rebate can be processed and refunded directly back to you by Medicare. There will be a small gap to pay.

You may be eligible for up to 5 Allied Health (ie. Physiotherapy, Podiatry etc.) sessions per year covered by Medicare. Your GP must decide whether or not your injury is appropriate to be treated under this scheme.

Chronic Disease Management/Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)

 

If you are claiming through Workers Compensation or Motor Vehicle, please make sure you advise our Clinic of this when booking your appointment. You will need an approved claim number, details of your insurer and Claims Manager contact details.

Should the claim for your treatment not be approved you will be required to pay for the session.
Please bring all paperwork and Doctors referral with you to the session.

Compensation Claims (Workers Compensation/Motor Vehicle)

 

If you are a DVA patient, please make sure you advise our Clinic of this when booking your appointment. You will be required to bring your DVA card, referral letter from your GP (must be less than 12 months old) and any other relevant paperwork.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)

 

If you Cancel your appointment within 1 Business Day or Do Not Attend your appointment at the allocated time, a Cancellation Fee equivalent to the appointment type cost may be charged.

Unattended appointments or short notice cancellations may result in the inability to book further appointments without pre payment.

Cancellation Fee
