A Tennis & Racquet Sports Screening Assessment involves a functional movement and musculoskeletal assessments by a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, allowing for Risk of Injury identification and appropriate tennis specific prehabilitation to optimise your body function for tennis and other racquet ball sports.


What is included:

  • Functional screening by a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and experienced tennis player

  • Thorough assessment to review past and current injuries and playing/training schedule

  • Comprehensive musculoskeletal examination to identify weaknesses and imbalances

  • Hands on Physiotherapy if required

  • Progressive mobility, power, upper/lower limb and core strengthening exercise program to address any deficiencies and optimise fitness

Tennis Physio

Tennis Physio is a hands on physiotherapy treatment session. We provide an accurate diagnosis and advice to help you return to training and playing, as well as creating tailored strengthening and mobility exercises which focus on both prehabilitation (to avoid injury) and rehabilitation (during injury).

Common Tennis Injuries:

Tennis and racquet sport conditions and injuries commonly managed at Tweak Physio include:

Our Tennis Physio, Thomas, is an experienced tennis player having spent many years competing and training for tennis at a local level and when younger travelled to the USA, training and playing in tournaments. He has also recently taken up one of the world's fastest growing sports, Pickleball. Given this, he fully understand the physical demands of racquet sports.

Thomas has experience working with people of all ages and can appreciate the benefits of sport for social, physical and mental wellbeing and will endeavour to help you stay or get back on-court as quickly and safely as possible.
